Jon Cashman

Jon Cashman, Lexstra Managing Director. A former warship designer, Jon acquired ten years’ business experience at three of the UK’s leading IT recruitment companies before joining forces with Jay Goldberg and Larry Levine to found Lexstra at the end of 1996. The expertise gained at these key players, and his recognition of the importance of a client focused business model, led Jon to drive Lexstra’s annualised sales to £6.5 million within eighteen months of a cold start.

He remains closely involved with all aspects of the company’s activities, including new business development. One of the guiding principles of Lexstra is that senior management is directly involved with the sales process, speaking to both hirers and applicants, to ensure that the company’s service delivery precisely matches what this exciting and fast moving market requires.

Jon holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College London. He is an enthusiastic windsurfer and glider pilot, and lives with his family close to Lexstra’s Kingston Upon Thames headquarters.
